This is exactly Ulf Beijbom experienced when he returned to his childhood Sollefteå, to some extent also the birth town of Härnösand. His autobiographical tale from the 1940s and 50s played out over perhaps the most tumultuous period in Sollefteås history period of duty with the two regiments, of business expansion, the higher education entrance and the modernization process that went excavators in tower city nationwide unique wooden houses.
