Growing Interest in Swedish Studies

Thirty-seven University of Texas students braved frosty weather to sign it at a special "Swedish Table" sponsored by the Swedish Studies Excellence Endowment at UT's semi-annual, open-air Study Abroad Fair on campus. Purpose of the Fair is to stimulate interest in studying abroad, an experience that is increasingly considered not only an invaluable adjunt to the students' college education, but also as an asset in their future job hunt in today's globalised world.

The "Swedish Table" focuses on encouraging students to look in the direction of Sweden, as they think about study abroad possibilities, and to consider applying for the extremely generous scholarships made available by the Swedish Endowment.
