Värmland in North America

Places founded by emigrants from Värmland or named after its locations and parishes have been featured in earlier issues of Bryggan/the Bridge. There have also been articles on Swedish American connections to other emigration provinces in Sweden; parts of Swedish maps can be imposed here and there on the vast body of land making up North America.

Not to be forgotten is one such map that can be written across American states whose names remind us of the first people who lived there.
