In autumn 2005, on October 7-9, people will once again gather by the thousands in Lindsborg, Kansas, to join the festival that to the utmost honors the pioneers of Smoky Valley and the people who maintain the heritage from that age: "Honoring the Early Swedish Pioneers of the Smoky Valley." In other words this about the Svensk Hyllningsfest, a famous event that in "Little Sweden, U.S.A." has taken place since 1841, making this year's celebration the 61st.
